Who We Are Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together . We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion. Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work. About the Role: We're hiring a Technical Program Manager to lead the systems, data, and process work behind how we bill, recognize revenue, close the books, and prove our controls work. You won't be writing the code or drawing the architecture; you'll be deciding what gets built, in what order, and why it matters. This is a role for someone who wants to understand a business well enough to change how it runs: learning the objectives, processes, and system flows end to end, then shaping them into strategic technical programs with real owners, deliberate sequencing, and decisions that hold up under audit. You'll sit between Finance and Accounting on one side and Engineering, Data, and Product on the other, and you'll be accountable for making new revenue streams operable and auditable, from a pricing model on a slide to a billed invoice, a booked journal entry, and a control that passes testing. You'll report to the Lead Technical Program Manager for Data, Biztech & AI Transformation, within EPD. You'll get high-level direction and clear priorities from your manager, and independent ownership of how the work actually gets delivered. You'll bring engineering-side rigor and platform thinking to finance problems, and work as part of a team modernizing how the whole company operates. Most of your time will go to three things: making new product and pricing launches work end to end in the finance stack, running the platforms and data flows behind quote-to-cash and record-to-report, and driving the IT general controls (ITGC) program so controls are designed into systems up front rather than retrofitted after go-live. This role can be based in either San Francisco or New York City. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days. What You'll Achieve: Act as Finance's technical counterpart on new product, pricing, and packaging launches, translating commercial models into requirements across order capture, rating and billing, tax, revenue recognition, and downstream reporting, and defining what "revenue-ready" means before go/no-go: who owns each piece, what's actually done versus asserted, and which risks are still cheap to fix Broker the trade-off when a launch date and systems reality don't line up: a scoped manual workaround with an owner, a cost, and an expiration date, plus the path to the automated version. Then close the loop after launch on billing accuracy, exception rates, where revenue landed, whether the new controls actually operate, and what must be true to do this again at 10x volume Independently own delivery and multi-quarter roadmaps for your finance systems programs, including ERP, billing and subscription management, CPQ, revenue subledger, procurement, and the reporting layer on top. Run the working groups that deliver them across Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Data, and Security, with clear accountability and updates leadership can read in two minutes Run the operating rhythm: intake and prioritization, decision logs, early risk escalation, and a small set of metrics that show whether the work is actually improving anything, and flag early when committed scope and capacity don't line up Map current-state processes and data lineage end to end and go after the breaks: reconciliation gaps, recurring manual journal entries, spreadsheets doing load-bearing work, competing sources of truth for the same metric. Partner with Data Engineering on the definitions and data contracts that let finance metrics tie cleanly to source systems, and hold the line when teams drift Drive ITGC workstreams across in-scope financial systems: logical access and segregation of duties, change management, SDLC and CI/CD pipelines, job scheduling, and data interfaces. Partner with Internal Audit on scoping and control design, with a named owner for every control Facilitate designing controls into new systems, systems changes, and launches before go-live with Controllership, Internal Audit, and Engineering, and serve as the systems-side point of contact for internal and external audit on ITGC walkthroughs and testing, translating between control language and engineering language, and driving deficiencies through root cause, named owners, evidence, and validation that the fix holds Build AI-assisted workflows that expand what the teams around you can cover, and hold them to real standards: a defined task, a way to evaluate output quality, explicit human review gates on anything touching financial reporting, and documentation so someone else can run it Skills You'll Need to Bring: 5+ years in technical program management, business systems, finance transformation, or a related field, with substantial time on finance or revenue systems; public-company or IPO-track experience is a strong plus Working fluency in finance operations; you don't need to be an accountant, but you should hold your own on quote-to-cash and record-to-report, and know why revenue recognition is not the same as billing Hands-on ITGC program experience across access, change management, and IT operations for in-scope financial systems, plus practical SOX knowledge. You understand how ITGC reliance determines what auditors will accept from automated controls and system-generated reports, can tell a key control from a non-key one, know where ITACs fit alongside ITGCs, and have been through remediation and audit cycles rather than only reading about them AI-native operating mindset; this is a core requirement for this role. You already use AI to draft requirements, synthesize status, triage intake, and assemble evidence packages, and you share the patterns so others work differently because of what you built A track record of independently delivering technical programs end to end, ideally transformation work such as system modernization, a large-scale migration, or an ERP or billing platform implementation, and turning messy or incomplete inputs into a concrete plan with owners and dates; you're pulled into problems before they're scoped and you're as useful advising a controller on process design as an engineering lead on sequencing Working understanding of data lifecycle and analytics tooling, and real experience running change management for business systems, not just launching them Influence without authority and a bias toward closure. You have no direct reports, so you work through credibility and clear reasoning, knowing when to push and when to escalate; you chase ambiguous items to a decision, will reopen the uncomfortable question a week before launch, and communicate clearly with Director/VP+ stakeholders, including when the news is bad Nice to Haves: Hands-on experience working in enterprise billing, ERP, and revenue systems such as NetSuite, Stripe, or comparable tools, with an understanding of how orders, invoices, and revenue data flow between them Experience supporting an IPO readiness or first-year SOX program, including standing up ITGCs from scratch CISA, CIA, or equivalent certification, or equivalent time embedded on an IT audit team Experience building internal tooling or agents on a workspace platform rather than only configuring vendor systems Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco, the estimated base salary range for this role is $133,000 - $223,000 per year. By clicking “Submit Application”, I understand and agree that Notion and its affiliates and subsidiaries will collect and process my information in accordance with Notion’s Global Recruiting Privacy Policy . #LI-Onsite A Note on AI You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on. Equal Opportunity & Accommodations We hire talented people from a wide range of backgrounds. If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every bullet, we still encourage you to apply. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work. About the Role: Own how our Foundations business teams design, automate, and operate their most important workflows. Notion is growing quickly, and the processes that run our business — intake, triage, execution, approvals, escalations, reporting — need to scale without adding headcount or losing auditability. This role exists to redesign those processes end to end and to embed AI directly into them, so the work moves faster and the system stays trustworthy. What's different at Notion: you'll build on Notion as customer zero. You'll design multi-system workflows spanning Notion, Slack, email, support tooling, and internal data, then ship the custom agents, skills, and automations that run them — partnering with Finance, Legal, People, Ops, Data, and Engineering to drive real adoption, not just documentation. This role can be based in either San Francisco or New York City. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days. What You'll Achieve: Redesign cross-functional processes end to end: Map and optimize core and cross-functional flows for Foundations business teams, making them simpler, faster, and more consistent than the operating models they replace. Architect multi-system workflows: Design workflows spanning Notion, Slack, email, support tooling, and internal systems and data, with clear states, routing, permissions, and auditability. Design for failure, not just the happy path: Identify edge cases, controls, and handoffs so workflows are resilient, reviewable, and easy for a business team to operate without you. Embed AI with clear human-in-the-loop patterns: Define where AI assists, automates, approves, and audits — and make it obvious what AI did and why. Build and maintain custom agents and skills: Ship the agents, structured skills, and runbooks that power intake triage, summarization, routing, escalation, and reporting for business teams. Instrument everything you ship: Define success metrics (cycle time, deflection, quality, adoption), measure them, and iterate based on data and stakeholder feedback. Set the standards others build on: Establish best practices for AI safety, permissions, transparency, and workflow documentation so the patterns hold as more teams adopt them. Drive adoption and change management: Partner with business stakeholders so tooling gets used because it's intuitive and reliable, and measurably improves day-to-day work. Skills You'll Need to Bring: Process and systems design depth: 2–6 years in operations design, service design, product operations, business systems, or internal tools, with a portfolio showing systems thinking and measurable outcomes. Complex workflow experience: Demonstrated ability to design for intake, triage, routing, approvals, escalations, and reporting across teams and tools, including states, permissions, and auditability. Process mapping rigor: Hands-on experience mapping and improving business processes through journey maps, service blueprints, operating models, and SOPs. AI-native builder mindset: Experience designing or building with AI assistants and agents, workflow automation, or internal tooling — including prompt design, tool selection, and evaluation for quality, reliability, and edge cases. This role requires AI fluency. Lightweight automation ability: Comfort building with Notion custom agents and automations, structured skills, and integrations across systems (APIs, webhooks, connectors). Hands-on preferred. Clear communication and stakeholder judgment: Ability to convey design intent using whatever artifact fits the problem, and to present and defend tradeoffs across multiple tools and teams. Comfort with ambiguity: Experience operating in fast-moving environments and collaborating deeply with engineers and PMs to shape decisions, not just execute them. Nice to Haves: Consulting background in technology, process and operations consulting, or business/digital transformation — including discovery, current- and future-state process mapping, and stakeholder workshops Track record delivering client engagements across multiple functions or industries, and turning that pattern recognition into repeatable playbooks and operating standards Experience designing internal tools, developer platforms, or enterprise software Familiarity with data concepts (schemas, event tracking, dashboards) and operational analytics Notion product expertise Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. About Supabase Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth. About the Role The Technical Account Manager (TAM) Leader owns the health, direction, and performance of the Technical Account Management function. Where an individual TAM is the primary technical partner for their own portfolio of accounts, the TAM Leader is accountable for the entire TAM book — every account covered by the team, every partner relationship with a technical dimension, and the people who deliver against them. The TAM Leader is both a player and a coach: they carry direct accountability for coverage decisions, escalation outcomes, and cross-functional alignment, while spending the majority of their time developing the individual TAMs so the team's proactive, relationship-first approach scales without becoming a response channel. Core Responsibilities People Leadership & Team Development The TAM Leader hires, coaches, and grows the TAM team so each member operates as a credible, proactive technical partner to their accounts. This includes: Hiring and onboarding new TAMs, including running them through the TAM Path ramp Running regular 1:1s, setting individual development plans, and giving direct feedback on account plans, QBRs, and escalation handling Building and maintaining repeatable playbooks (upgrade runbooks, optimization playbooks, escalation patterns) so quality doesn't depend on tenure Setting and holding the team to a consistent bar for technical depth, proactivity, and communication Portfolio & Coverage Ownership The TAM Leader owns the coverage model for the entire function — deciding, tracking, and refreshing who is assigned where, and closing gaps as they surface. This includes the two account universes the role is accountable for: Named accounts — the full book maintained in the Draft TAM Accounts doc , currently ~$33.1M ARR across 120 accounts split across the team, capped at 20 accounts per TAM Partner-mapped accounts — every partner with a named Technical Account Manager in the Partner Mappings , spanning Strategic AI, Growth, and Other tiers Running the quarterly review/refresh of assigned accounts, rebalancing books as ARR and strategic relationships shift Resolving open coverage gaps (e.g. regions or account types with no TAM alignment) and deciding when a controlled exception, a new hire, or a change in tier definition is the right fix Approving leadership-discretion assignments and cap exceptions, and making the trim/reassign calls when an account is dropped for capacity Customer Technical Ownership (oversight) The TAM Leader ensures every assigned account — named or partner-mapped — has a clear, accountable technical owner. They spot-check account documentation, architecture understanding, and risk tracking across the book, and step in directly on the most strategic or highest-risk accounts. Onboarding and Adoption (oversight) The TAM Leader ensures the team consistently shortens time to value for new accounts by: Auditing that architecture and deployment validation is happening post-sale, not skipped Coaching TAMs on configuration guidance and best-practice delivery Tracking early success milestones across the portfolio, not just account by account Proactive Technical Guidance (oversight) The TAM Leader ensures environment reviews and risk/optimization surfacing happen on a regular cadence across the whole book, covering scalability, reliability, security, and lifecycle planning — and holds the team accountable when reviews lapse. Issue Management and Escalation The TAM Leader is the escalation layer above the individual TAM — brought in on complex, high-impact, or multi-stakeholder issues rather than replacing the TAM as primary contact. This includes: Coordinating across support, engineering, and success during major incidents Owning execution of the Named Account Escalation SLA sequence when it's triggered Ensuring root cause analysis and preventative action actually close out, not just the immediate fire Isolating TAMs from technical repair work so they can stay focused on the relationship while the right team handles the fix Strategic Technical Planning (oversight) The TAM Leader ensures account plans across the book stay aligned to customer roadmaps, and personally engages on capacity, architecture, or growth planning for the largest or most strategic accounts and partners. Internal Collaboration Engineering and Product The TAM Leader represents the aggregated voice of the customer — patterns across accounts, not just one-off feedback — to engineering and product, and prioritizes which recurring pain points or gaps get pushed for a fix versus handled as one-offs. Support The TAM Leader maintains the operating agreement between TAM and Support (TAMs are not frontline support) and is the point of escalation when that boundary needs adjudicating on a specific account. Sales and Customer Success The TAM Leader partners with Sales and Success leadership on account health and retention at the portfolio level — surfacing which accounts or partners are trending at risk, and where TAM coverage itself needs to change to protect NRR. Partnerships Because the TAM Leader owns the Technical Account Manager assignments inside the Partner Mappings, they work directly with each partner's Account Quarterback, Partner Manager, and Solutions Architect to make sure the technical relationship keeps pace with partner stage (Prospecting through Scaling) and tier (Strategic AI, Growth, Other) — while staying out of commercial terms, which live with the Partner Manager. Success Metrics Common indicators of TAM Leader effectiveness include: Coverage: % of the $33.1M+ named-account book and partner-mapped accounts with an assigned, active TAM Team health: ramp time to productivity for new TAMs, retention of the TAM team itself Customer adoption and usage depth across the book Reduction in critical incidents and time to resolution for escalated issues, portfolio-wide Customer satisfaction and retention (NRR) across named and partner-mapped accounts Consistency: QBR completion rate and account plan quality across the team, not just top performers Tools Used by the TAM Team This section documents the tools and systems used by the Technical Account Management team. It is intended to be kept up to date as tooling evolves. Admin Studio Grafana Hex pgAdmin HubSpot (account ARR, tier, and health data) Notion — Draft TAM Accounts doc and Partner Mappings database Scope of Coverage The TAM Leader is accountable for the full combined book the function covers, not a single portfolio: Named accounts in the Draft TAM Accounts doc — every account already assigned to one of the individual TAMs, plus resolution of open decisions such as the current APAC coverage gap Partner-mapped accounts in the Partner Mappings — ensuring every partner that warrants a technical relationship has a named TAM against it, and that the mapping stays current as partners move through Stage and Tier Account Mapping TAM Standard (Pooled) Spend — For customers at $100K ARR, access to pooled TAM resources for a set (time TBD) hours per month Pooled TAM SKU — Customers of any scale can purchase pooled access to the TAM team (requires Enterprise Support SKU) Leadership Discretion for Customer Needs TAM Premium (Dedicated) Spend — For customers at $250K ARR, access to a dedicated TAM resource for a set (time TBD) hours per month Dedicated TAM SKU — Customers of any scale can purchase an assigned TAM (requires Enterprise Support SKU) Leadership Discretion for Customer Needs The TAM Leader owns tier decisions, the quarterly refresh of this mapping, and any leadership-discretion exceptions. What TAM Leaders Do Not Do To keep the function focused and scaling, the TAM Leader does not: Replace the individual TAM as an account's day-to-day technical relationship owner — accounts scale by layering support on, not by handing off Perform day-to-day operational work for customers Own or negotiate commercial terms for either named accounts or partner deals — that stays with the AE or Partner Manager Act as professional services for custom implementations Manage frontline support case queues Ideal Individual A world-class Technical Account Manager Leader at Supabase has done the individual TAM job well and now wants to multiply it across a team. Technical depth — Same bar as an individual TAM: can go deep on database internals, scalability, security posture, and infrastructure tradeoffs, and can still credibly work a strategic account directly when needed People leadership — Has hired, coached, and grown a technical team before; gives direct, specific feedback and knows how to develop someone from good to great Portfolio-level judgment — Can look across 100+ accounts and a partner book and tell where coverage is thin, where an account should move tiers, and where to spend leadership discretion Escalation command — Comfortable being the senior voice in a high-severity, multi-stakeholder incident, coordinating support, engineering, and success without adding noise Cross-functional influence at altitude — Represents patterns across the whole book to engineering, product, sales, and partnerships leadership — not just one account's feedback Communication clarity — Can brief an executive on portfolio health and coach a TAM through a root cause analysis in the same day Retention and expansion awareness — Understands that TAM Leader performance shows up in aggregate NRR across the book; proactively rebalances coverage toward the accounts and partners most at risk Experience — Background in engineering, SRE, or technical consulting, plus a track record of leading a technical customer-facing team Summary The Technical Account Manager Leader exists to make sure every account and partner relationship the TAM function is accountable for — the full Draft TAM Accounts book and the entire Partner Mappings coverage — has a technical owner, and that the team delivering against it keeps getting better. About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role The Endpoint team (Client Platform Engineering) manages the laptops and handsets every Anthropic employee works on, plus the infrastructure underneath them. We treat the fleet as a distributed platform, not a collection of devices, and every piece of configuration ships as code through pull requests, CI, staging, and a canary group. Today the mobile side of the fleet is BYOD. This role exists to change that. You will design and implement a corporate-issued mobile device program (managed company phones and managed Apple accounts) in every region Anthropic operates in, and take it from early design to production. The team is deliberately lean and runs with high autonomy. You’ll define what a corporate mobile program looks like at Anthropic and own the platform decisions that get it there. Responsibilities Design the corporate-issued mobile device program: device standards, what we issue to whom, and how the program grows from a first region to everywhere Anthropic operates Own the global logistics of issuing hardware: procurement partners, regional coverage, spares, and refresh cycles Bring mobile configuration into the team’s config-as-code pipeline so mobile policies are reviewed, tested, and progressively rolled out like the rest of the fleet Build zero-touch enrollment: Apple Business Manager and ADE with managed Apple accounts on iOS, the zero-touch equivalent on Android, so a new phone works the first time without hands-on setup Own policy, compliance, and device lifecycle for the corporate fleet, from issue to wipe Build telemetry on the corporate fleet: which devices are checking in, OS and patch state, drift between reported and actual state Own managed app distribution for mobile, from app approval through update rollout Partner with Corporate Security on device posture, device trust signals, and travel devices for international trips Decide how corporate-issued and BYOD coexist, and own that boundary as the program rolls out You may be a good fit if you Have owned a global or multi-region mobile device program end to end, with 8+ years managing corporate fleets at thousands-of-devices scale Go deep on iOS device management: enrollment flows, Apple Business Manager and ADE, APNs and certificate lifecycle, declarative device management Have worked with Android device management and can hold your own in a mixed fleet Treat device configuration as code and have moved past clicking in consoles Have run the infrastructure under an MDM, not just administered a SaaS console: a self-hosted MDM server, AWS, Terraform, and configuration that ships as code Have built or launched a corporate device program, not just operated one, and can decide how it coexists with BYOD Excel at ambiguous problems that touch several teams at once Communicate technical concepts clearly to any audience View IT Engineering as requiring product engineering rigor Write clear documentation as a natural part of your workflow Strong candidates may also Have managed ChromeOS devices alongside a mobile fleet Have run a device program across multiple regions and dealt with the logistics that come with it Have built automated, progressive rollout systems with promotion gated on telemetry Bring proficiency in Swift for building device tooling Have used LLMs to automate operational work, or are excited to make Claude a teammate Technical Skills Python and shell scripting iOS and Android platform internals (depth on iOS, working knowledge of Android) Modern MDM or UEM platforms (Jamf, Intune, Workspace ONE, or equivalent) Running the infrastructure under an MDM (self-hosted servers, AWS GCP, Terraform) Querying live device state at fleet scale Mobile device lifecycle automation (enrollment, policy, patching, app distribution) GitOps and CI for configuration management Endpoint security fundamentals Deadline to apply: None. Applications will be received on a rolling basis. The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $285,000 — $325,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit anthropic.com/careers directly for confirmed position openings. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. About the role Anthropic is looking for product engineers to build internal products. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and design—you'll own outcomes, not just tasks. You'll work directly with users to understand their needs, identify the patterns behind their requests, and build the right abstractions that unlock capabilities for everyone. What you'll do: Rapidly design, prototype, and ship full-stack features across backend, frontend, and infrastructure Consult with users and stakeholders to understand workflows and identify the highest-impact opportunities Spot patterns across user requests and reduce them into primitives, platforms, or middleware that support a variety of use cases—not just one-off features Build tools that maximize autonomy and creative freedom for less-technical users Make product and prioritization decisions, not just execute on specs handed to you Iterate quickly based on feedback to continuously improve the user experience Pick up new tools, frameworks, and domains as the product evolves You may be a good fit if you: Have 6+ years of experience building production software, ideally full-stack Can operate as a team of one when needed—you're independently capable of taking a product from idea to shipped, even if you won't always work that way Think in systems and abstractions—you see the platform behind the feature request Care about empowering users, not just building for them Own outcomes, not just code—you care whether the thing you built actually solved the problem Are comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and operating with ambiguity Hold yourself to a high bar without needing external pressure Strong candidates will have: Proficiency across the stack (we use Python, TypeScript, React) Experience building platforms, primitives, or internal tools that others build on top of A track record of shipping products independently—not just contributing to larger efforts Deadline to apply: None. Applications will be received on a rolling basis. The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. About the Team The Integrated Marketing team sits at the center of product, brand, creative, media, research, and GTM work. We partner closely with PMM, Product, Developer Relations, Design, Comms, and agency teams to shape launches and campaigns that are clear, distinctive, and grounded in real audience insight. This is a growing function, so the team needs people who can both raise the quality of the work and build the operating model around it: bringing strong judgment, high agency, and trusted partnership to complex, visible moments. About the Role OpenAI business launches move quickly and often involve new products, model capabilities, or research that can change how businesses operate. We’re looking for an integrated marketing manager to help shape those launches from early strategy through execution. You’ll develop a point of view on the audience, positioning, creative direction, and channels, and help turn complex product and research advances into campaigns that connect with customers. You’ll partner across Product, Product Marketing, Research, Brand, Creative, Communications, Growth, and Sales, along with external agencies. The right person understands technology, has strong strategic and creative instincts, and knows how to bring together the right people and ideas to produce work that is clear, credible, and effective. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, with three days a week in the office. In this role, you will: Develop integrated marketing strategies for business product launches, new capabilities, model releases, and research moments. Partner with Product, Product Marketing, and Research to understand what’s changing, identify the right audiences, and shape positioning and launch narratives. Lead campaigns that bring launches to life across creative, communications, customer marketing, developer marketing, growth, sales, and paid, owned, and earned channels. Identify customer stories, product demonstrations, and creative concepts that make technical capabilities tangible and relevant to business audiences. Work with creative, media, and production agencies to develop briefs, evaluate ideas, and deliver strong campaigns. Connect launch strategies to the needs of customers, sales teams, and partners, making sure the work supports both immediate announcements and longer-term adoption. Manage campaign budgets, agency relationships, and media investments where appropriate. You might thrive in this role if you: Have ~10+ years of experience in B2B product marketing, integrated marketing, launches, and/or a related technology go-to-market role. We care more about the scope, quality, and complexity of your work than an exact number of years. Have launched enterprise software, AI products, cloud services, developer tools, or other technically sophisticated offerings, especially in fast moving or ambiguous environments. Understand product positioning and can work closely with Product and PMM leaders as a thoughtful, credible partner. Bring strong ideas, build relationships easily, and know how to partner with internal creative teams or external agencies to improve the work, not just coordinate it. Pair creative judgment and customer empathy with analytical thinking, operational rigor, and hands-on execution. You can sort through a high volume of information, make sound recommendations, and keep complex launch work moving across many stakeholders. About the Role Developers and founders are building some of the most interesting things happening in AI. They’re starting companies, creating new products, and changing how people work. We’re looking for an integrated marketing manager who understands this audience and can shape how OpenAI shows up for developers, founders, startups, and engineering teams. That includes supporting campaigns around new products, creating meaningful developer experiences, and finding compelling ways to highlight the people and companies building with our technology. You’ll partner across Product, Product Marketing, Developer Relations, Research, Brand, and Creative, along with external agencies and partners, to develop strategies and bring strong ideas to market. The right person understands technology, has good creative judgment, and knows how to turn audience insight into work that feels useful, credible, and worth paying attention to. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, with three days a week in the office. In this role, you will: Support marketing strategies for developers, founders, startups, and engineering teams building with OpenAI, based on how technical audiences discover tools, evaluate them, and decide what to use. Partner with creative, media, and production agencies to develop briefs, evaluate concepts, improve the work, and bring campaigns to market. Establish agency relationships, campaign budgets, media planning, and paid media investments. Manage integrated campaigns across product launches, developer events, startup initiatives, community programs, and other opportunities to reach builders. Help shape campaign positioning, creative concepts, storytelling, and channel strategy. Bring your own judgment to the work and push for ideas that will actually resonate with developers. Identify compelling developers, founders, and companies building with OpenAI and find thoughtful ways to tell their stories. Measure what’s working across awareness, engagement, consideration, product adoption, and relevant business outcomes, then use those insights to improve future campaigns. You might thrive in this role if you: Have ~ 10+ years of experience in developer marketing, integrated brand marketing, creative or media agencies, product marketing, and/or a related technology marketing role. We care more about the scope, quality, and complexity of your work than an exact number of years. Love technology, follow what developers and founders are building, and actively explore new AI products and tools. You are curious about APIs, models, developer tools, and technical products, and can ask informed questions without oversimplifying. Can earn credibility with engineers, product leaders, developer relations teams, and technical marketers, while also translating technical ideas into campaigns that broader founder, startups, and business audiences can understand. Bring strong brand, media, visual, and creative judgment; have experience selecting and managing agencies, shaping campaign briefs, and delivering distinctive integrated work. Combine analytical thinking, hands-on execution, strong relationships, and original ideas that make the work better for the people around you. You are high-agency, comfortable with ambiguity, able to push back constructively, and trusted as a strategic partner rather than only an execution owner.
