About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role The Corporate Network Engineering team owns Anthropic's corporate network: the wired, wireless, and edge infrastructure in our offices and research facilities around the world, and the standards, management systems, and telemetry that let a small team run them. We hold that network to the bar of a production service — designed for failure, managed as code, observable end-to-end, and secure by default — while delivering reliable connectivity to the people who depend on it every day. You'll set the technical direction together with your engineers and own the final decision on it and on the architecture standards, review and guide designs and the hard trade-offs, and lead vendor and platform decisions. You'll lead and grow a small team of network engineers: set priorities, drive decisions to closure, hire, and develop people. The team is small and the scope is broad, so this role needs real depth in campus and edge networking, judgment about what to standardize, automate, buy, and build, and the range to go from a wiring-closet decision to a budget defense in the same afternoon. You'll report to the head of IT Engineering and partner closely with our Buildouts, AV, and Endpoint teams; with Security Engineering on network security, authentication, and detections; with Physical Security, whose systems are critical for protecting Anthropic employees and depend on a reliable network; with Workplace, Real Estate, Procurement, and external logistics and integration partners on new site buildouts; and with our production networking teams, whose bar for reliability and automation is the one we hold ourselves to. Your work will directly shape how we scale to AI Safety Level 4 and beyond. Responsibilities Lead and grow the Corporate Network Engineering team — hiring, development, performance, planning, and prioritization Set technical direction with the team and own the final call on architecture standards across edge, campus switching, wireless, segmentation, out-of-band management, and telemetry; review designs and risky changes, and step in on the hard problems Own reliability and operations: monitoring people act on, incident response and post-incident reviews that produce changes, an on-call and escalation model a small team can sustain, change safety, and lifecycle currency Move the fleet toward network-as-code: templated configuration with change control, staged rollouts, drift detection, and automation that removes operational toil Partner with Security Engineering and Detection & Response on network authentication, segmentation, and the network as a detection source Deliver networks for new offices and research facilities and upgrade existing sites through live migrations — with Buildouts, AV, Physical Security, Workplace, Real Estate, and our logistics partners — while keeping interruptions to employees minimal Own vendor, carrier, and integrator relationships and the network hardware budget: evaluations, contracts, lead times, and multi-year refresh You may be a good fit if you Have 10+ years designing, building, and operating enterprise campus and edge networks, including at least one environment with dozens of sites across regions Have 5+ years leading engineers, including at least 3 years as a people manager Lead through technical judgment: whether or not you've been hands-on-keyboard lately, you can go from architecture to protocol behavior to failure modes with your engineers, and your reviews make their designs better Default to the secure design, then do the creative work to make it painless for the people using it — and can walk an executive or an engineer through the trade-off and make a recommendation Have run the operational side, not just designed it: out-of-band access, monitoring people act on, an on-call model a small team can sustain, and change safety Are pragmatic about what to build, buy, or automate, have run vendor evaluations with real money at stake, and chase problems across organizational boundaries to the actual root cause Communicate clearly with engineers, executives, contractors, and landlords, and can bring a room of senior engineers with strong opinions to a decision they'll commit to Want real technical ownership with a small team — including if you've led a larger organization before — and care about building infrastructure for an organization trying to get AI right Strong candidates may also Have led corporate networking at a company that added offices faster than it added network engineers Have implemented certificate-based network authentication (802.1X/EAP-TLS or equivalent) and identity- or device-based segmentation at scale Have shipped network configuration as code and built telemetry pipelines that security and support teams actually use Have designed dense wireless for large event spaces and high-occupancy floors Have been through multiple office builds with real estate and construction teams — including networks that physical security systems depend on — and know what to ask for before the walls close Have managed integrators, MSPs, or smart-hands providers as an extension of a small team while keeping design authority in-house Technical Skills We're looking for deep, hands-on experience in each of these — not surface familiarity: Enterprise edge: firewalls and routing (HA design, routing protocols, policy management across a fleet) Campus switching and high-density enterprise wireless (L2/L3 design, redundancy, RF design, 6 GHz, high-density venues) Segmentation and access control (certificate-based 802.1X, dynamic segmentation, guest and IoT isolation) Out-of-band management and secure, auditable administrative access Network automation and configuration as code (Python, templating, vendor APIs, source control, CI) Network observability (streaming telemetry, flow and log pipelines) Physical infrastructure for buildouts (MDF/IDF design, structured cabling, power and cooling, carrier and path diversity) Deadline to apply: None. Applications will be received on a rolling basis. The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $285,000 — $325,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. About the role We're looking for our first Pre-Sales Program Lead to build the programs that take this team from opportunity to a signed contract. Your job will be to build the pipeline qualification and management mechanisms that keep quality opportunities flowing, the prioritization heuristics that decide where a capacity-constrained team places its bets across commercial, research, and mission-oriented deals, the pursuit-to-signature process (including the legal and finance ways of working) that gets contracts signed quickly and cleanly, and the partner coordination motions that determine when we pass an opportunity to a partner, when we team, and how we run subcontract or co-delivery pursuits well. This is a foundational role; you'll be the first hire in this function, operating with high autonomy and in direct partnership with Forward Deployed Engineering leadership, with room for the role to grow as the function does. You'll work hand in glove with a Post-Sale Program Lead counterpart who owns delivery from signature onward. Together you'll define the handoff that connects your two halves of the engagement lifecycle. The right person finds energy in exactly this: a business with more demand than it can serve, and no machine yet for choosing well and closing fast. Key responsibilities Design, pilot and refine the pre-sales programs that run Forward Deployed Engineering's pipeline: how opportunities are generated, qualified, routed, pursued, and won across a high-velocity portfolio Own the prioritization heuristics that shape the portfolio, making deliberate trade-offs across commercial, research, and mission-oriented engagements and making those trade-offs legible to leadership Lead the most complex and high-stakes pre-sales pursuits personally — the ones where deal size, organizational complexity, or strategic sensitivity puts a senior operator in the room — while simultaneously building the programs that let a growing team handle everything else. Own definition of the pursuit-to-signature process: scoping, proposal development, approvals, and the legal and finance workflows that get contracts signed without cutting corners Build the partner coordination motions for pre-sales: when to hand an opportunity to a partner, when to team, and how to run subcontract or co-delivery pursuits with tight management Define the process for handing off deals from sales to delivery, working closely with the Post-Sale Programs Lead so signed engagements arrive with what delivery teams need to start fast Stand up the metrics, dashboards, and reporting that measure pipeline health, conversion, cycle time, and portfolio mix and use them to drive continuous improvement Codify how the team pursues work into playbooks and self-service programs that let a growing organization run without bottlenecking on individual people Build Claude into proposals, deal qualification, and pipeline tracking, setting the bar for what AI-native looks like. Partner across Sales, Partnerships, Legal, Finance, and Product to keep Forward Deployed Engineering's pre-sales interfaces with the rest of the business clean and predictable Minimum qualifications Have built or scaled the pre-sales side of a services or delivery business — professional services, consulting, solutions or field engineering, or similar — owning qualification, prioritization, and forecasting across a portfolio of concurrent pursuits Bring enough technical fluency to scope and defend AI and software services work with engineering leaders and technical buyers, without being the one who builds it Have taken complex deals through contracting, working with legal, finance, and procurement stakeholders to get agreements signed Have designed program, playbooks, or cadences that other people actually adopted and ran — not only documented Bring a strong analytical toolkit: you're fluent working with data, have stood up metrics and reporting from scratch, and use them to drive decisions Communicate clearly and credibly with audiences from engineers to executives, and can influence without authority across functions Work effectively in high-ambiguity environments and are comfortable building where no process exists yet Are excited about Anthropic's mission to develop AI that is safe and beneficial Preferred qualifications Experience with partner-involved deal motions, including subcontracting, co-delivery, teaming, or channel handoffs Have been the first programs or operations hire, or built such a function from scratch, at a company that scaled significantly during your tenure Have hired, developed, and led programs or operations teams Experience in AI or technical professional services, with enough technical fluency to reason about what modern AI products make possible Experience standing up pre-sales tooling and systems, including CRM, proposal and approval workflows Extensive experience in deal operations, revenue programs, or services go-to-market at a high-growth technology company The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. About the role As the Manager of Commercial Applied AI Architects at Anthropic, you will drive adoption of frontier AI across our mid-market and SMB customers by leading a team of technical architects who help companies build and deploy with the Claude API, Claude Code, the Agent SDK, and Claude for Enterprise. Commercial is one of Anthropic's largest and fastest-moving books of business: thousands of companies, a rapidly growing sales team, and a small group of architects whose job is to change deal outcomes where technical depth matters most. Your team's leverage does not come from being everywhere. It comes from choosing the right accounts to go deep on, then turning what they learn there into blueprints, demos, tooling, and enablement that reach the rest of the book. You will bring your own builder credibility and technical judgment to the role. Our architects ship working code: prototypes, eval frameworks, near-production examples that customers extend, and internal tooling that scales the team itself. You do not need to be the strongest engineer in the room, but you should expect to be in the work with your team, not just reviewing it from above. When an architect is deep in a hard engagement, you will often be right there alongside them, unblocking, pairing, and pressure-testing, while the account itself stays theirs. This is a first-line leadership role reporting to the Head of Applied AI, Commercial. You will start by managing a team of architects and are expected to help grow it well beyond its current size, partnering with Commercial sales leadership on coverage, qualification, and where technical investment pays off. You will co-own the strategy for how Applied AI shows up in the Commercial segment, and you will be judged on your team's outcomes and growth, not your own. Responsibilities: Manage, coach, and grow a team of Commercial Applied AI Architects, setting a high bar for technical credibility, customer impact, and speed Own hiring for your team as it scales, defining the profile, running the loop, and building onboarding that gets new architects into customer conversations quickly Set goals and run reviews for your team, and develop each architect's career with clear, direct feedback Decide where your team's depth goes. Own the qualification and prioritization framework for Applied AI engagement across a very large book, and be comfortable saying no Work alongside your architects on their most consequential engagements, from technical discovery through deployment and expansion, and model what great looks like without taking the work off their plate Build and own the segment's technical playbooks for Claude API integrations, Claude Code rollouts, agentic architectures on the Agent SDK, and Claude for Enterprise deployments, and turn account-level wins into reusable assets that scale one-to-many Partner closely with Commercial sales leadership and Account Executives to co-build segment strategy, tighten the AE-to-architect operating model, and drive adoption across mid-market and SMB Ensure your team consistently surfaces how mid-market companies are building with Claude, and translate that signal into actionable feedback for Product and Engineering Represent Anthropic technically at customer sites, workshops, roadshows, and events, and contribute to thought leadership through content and speaking Stay ahead of the AI engineering landscape, including agentic architectures, eval design, context engineering, and developer tooling, and keep your team operating at the frontier You may be a good fit if you: Have 7+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles (Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or similar), with 3+ years managing pre-sales or technical go-to-market teams Know how to hire well, coach effectively, give hard feedback kindly, and create an environment where builders do their best work Have led technical teams in a high-velocity, high-volume sales motion, where the constraint is your team's capacity rather than pipeline, and have a real point of view on how to allocate scarce technical talent across a large book Bring builder credibility. You have built and deployed LLM-powered applications, you understand what separates a prototype from a production system, and you can hold your own with a customer's engineering leadership Have hands-on familiarity with agentic architectures, LLM evaluation, and modern AI developer tooling, and can coach architects through the design decisions their customers face Have a systems mindset. When you see a problem, your instinct is to build one thing that serves ten customers rather than ten things that serve one Are comfortable in ambiguous, early-stage environments where the playbook does not exist yet, and have a track record of building structure as you go Have strong executive presence and can build trust with technical and business leaders alike Have a genuine passion for making powerful technology safe and societally beneficial Strong candidate may have: Scaled a technical pre-sales or forward-deployed team from a handful of people to a mature function, including defining the hiring bar, onboarding programs, and coaching systems from scratch Sold to and built for mid-market companies, with a clear understanding of how technical buying decisions differ between a 500-person company and a Fortune 500 Rolled out AI coding assistants or developer tools inside engineering organizations, and know how those teams evaluate, adopt, and measure them A visible technical presence through conference talks, written content, or open-source contributions The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. About the role Anthropic is seeking an experienced Customer Marketer to build out customer stories across the industries building with Claude. Behind every Claude deployment is a story of an organization reimagining how it works. This role tells those stories by finding the verticals where customer evidence matters most, and turning our best examples into the references and announcements that drive adoption. This isn't a traditional customer marketing role focused solely on case studies. You'll work closely with customers across their journey with Claude — partnering with Sales to find the customers finding value with Claude, building the relationships that turn customer champions into authentic advocates, and working with Communications to land customer milestones as high-impact announcements. Where Claude is newly landing in an industry, you'll build the bench — cultivating early wins into referenceable customers and flagship narratives that open entire verticals. You'll operate with autonomy and speed, building the playbooks, processes, and frameworks that let customer storytelling scale across industries — and shaping how some of the world's most recognizable companies understand, implement, and champion beneficial AI systems. Key responsibilities: Own customer storytelling for a subset of our Industries portfolio, from story identification through creation, approval, and distribution Identify and prioritize new verticals where customer proof points will accelerate adoption, and build the story pipeline to match Build a bench of referenceable customers and stories in industries where Claude is newly landing, developing accounts from early wins into flagship narratives Build and nurture relationships with customer executives and champions to foster authentic advocacy, guiding each story from first conversation through approval and publication Partner with Sales and account teams to pressure-test storytelling readiness and develop account-level advocacy plans that map each priority customer to the right story, format, and moment Work closely with Communications to shape and time customer announcements, turning deployment milestones and expansions into coordinated press, content, and social moments Work closely with our brand and creative team on customer video series, out-of-home campaigns, and other high-visibility creative moments that bring these stories to a broader audience Minimum qualifications Excellent written and verbal storytelling abilities, proven through technical customer stories that drove business results Experience building lasting relationships with technical executives and business leaders at the world's largest enterprises A track record of guiding customers from early success to public advocacy, navigating stakeholder alignment, approvals, and brand and legal review along the way Experience partnering with Communications or PR teams to turn customer milestones into announcements and press moments Track record of creating effective content in multiple formats (text, video, speakers/content for events) Data-driven approach to measuring and improving program impact Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high quality standards Strategic mindset balanced with strong execution capabilities History of successful collaboration across Sales, Product, and Communications teams Preferred qualifications 6+ years of experience in customer marketing or customer advocacy, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology Experience marketing with or to enterprises in traditional industries — manufacturing, energy, retail, media, travel, or similar — and an instinct for what resonates with buyers beyond the tech sector Experience standing up customer marketing or advocacy programs in new markets, segments, or verticals from the ground up Track record of successful customer advisory board (CAB) and executive event programming Experience building and managing customer loyalty or community programs Role-specific policy: For this role, we expect staff to be able to work from our San Francisco or New York office at least once a month for cross-functional stakeholder engagement. Additionally, this role will require up to 40% travel for events and customer engagements. Deadline to apply: None. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. About the role We're looking for a Front End Engineer to support our Brand Web team, working at the intersection of design and development to build and maintain Anthropic's web properties. In this role, you'll contribute to shipping high-quality web experiences across anthropic.com and claude.com — from interactive marketing pages and data visualizations to internal tooling that keeps our content operations running smoothly. You'll work closely with designers, engineers, and brand and content teams to translate design intent into polished, production-ready code. Rapid prototyping is a core part of how we work here, and you'll be expected to move fast. Key responsibilities Own implementation of design system components and page templates across our web properties, with a focus on experiences that go beyond static content — interactive pages, data visualizations, and tools that communicate complex information clearly Work within our headless CMS architecture, helping maintain and improve content modeling, structured data workflows, and the publishing experience Collaborate closely with designers to bridge the gap between static design and living, interactive web experiences Contribute to internal tools that help teams author, manage, and publish content at scale Participate in migrations and site architecture projects, taking on defined scopes within larger efforts led by senior team members Move quickly from concept to working prototype, iterating in close collaboration with the team Support tooling and workflow improvements that help the broader team ship faster, and contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing Minimum qualifications Have solid experience with modern frontend frameworks, particularly Next.js or similar React-based tooling, and are comfortable working within a design system Understand CSS at a level that lets you implement complex layouts, animations, and interactive experiences with precision Have hands-on experience with headless CMS platforms and can navigate content modeling, structured data workflows, and the operational side of keeping a large site running Have built internal tools or contributed to workflows that improve how teams work day-to-day, and enjoy that kind of problem-solving Can prototype quickly and iterate confidently, moving from rough idea to working proof-of-concept without getting stuck Communicate clearly with both designers and engineers, and care about shipping work that's both technically sound and visually refined Have a track record of contributing to production web properties at a mid-level scope, and are motivated to grow into owning larger, more complex projects Preferred qualifications Experience with AI-assisted development workflows Interest in generative or programmatic design Familiarity with localization or internationalization systems The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $300,000 — $320,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. About the role Anthropic's New Markets and Monetization team exists to bring transformational AI to every business. Model capabilities are compounding, and the Claude Platform is how businesses build with our models. Our job within the Claude Platform is to make sure that every industry, not just software, can build on frontier AI with our APIs and that everyone who builds on Claude prospers by it. The work falls into two pillars that reinforce each other. Verticals: identifying and building for the next API markets. Monetization: the commercial machinery that lets the platform do business anywhere, with anyone: a single way for usage that flows through partners, resellers, and other platforms. We're hiring the founding product managers onto this team, and this posting covers all of them. You will own one of the areas below outright, work day to day with a dedicated engineering lead and designer, and be measured on numbers that are company-level goals for the half. Almost none of this exists yet, so most weeks you will be the person defining the problem rather than receiving it. Key responsibilities Partner and platform billing. How usage that reaches Claude through a partner, reseller, or another platform is metered, attributed, and billed, and the program terms that go with it, so indirect volume can grow without our risk growing with it. Spend observability and controls. Giving enterprise buyers a precise view of what they spend and where, and turning that into limits and controls they can enforce, including programmatically. One account, and the startup path built on it. One login and one wallet across the API and Claude's subscriptions, so a builder's first commit, first production call, and first invoice are on a single plan. A vertical. The platform strategy for a particular industry: what builders there need that the platform doesn't yet do, which bets to make, and shipping them with the vertical's own product and go-to-market partners. Whatever your focus, you will: Build on primitives owned by the Billing Platform and Auth & Identity teams, and ship with Growth, Go-to-Market and Startups, Legal, Finance, and Data Science Structure the commercial terms yourself, whether that's pricing, revenue attribution, or partner and startup program terms, with Finance, Legal, and Business Development Talk to every side of the ecosystem, from enterprise buyers and startup builders to the partners that resell or embed Claude and the industry customers we're building for, and turn it into a roadmap where each new participant makes the platform more valuable to the rest Own the team's outcome metrics: the share of the platform's business outside coding, new startup revenue, volume unified across the API and Claude's subscriptions, and the volume partners book on Claude, and make sure the instrumentation exists to know whether what you shipped moved them Write the strategy, the specs, and the analysis yourself Minimum qualifications Have owned a developer platform, API, billing or money-movement product, or self-serve growth product end to end, and were the person accountable for its revenue or activation number (for most people this means five or more years as a PM, but we care about the ownership, not the years) Have built with or shipped on top of large language models, and have a view on what changes about billing, identity, or distribution when the customer is sometimes an agent Are technically fluent: you read API docs, work through a billing, identity, or attribution design with engineers, and make calls on platform primitives yourself Pull your own data: SQL or equivalent, to define a metric, build a funnel, or size a market Have negotiated pricing, revenue share, or program terms with Finance, Legal, or Business Development counterparts Write clearly enough that an engineer, an executive, and an external partner can each see the tradeoff you're making Care about Anthropic's mission, and specifically about growing this platform in a way where the people building on it share in the upside Preferred qualifications 8+ years of product management experience Worked on metering, usage attribution, reseller or cloud-marketplace channels, or enterprise spend management Taken a developer platform into a new industry, or built product in healthcare, life sciences, financial services, or another regulated industry Grown a developer product's self-serve or startup business, including its pricing and packaging Built account, identity, or subscription systems that span more than one product Taken a product from zero to one, where the users, the product, and the economics all had to be worked out at once The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $305,000 — $385,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time.
