About the Team Customer education helps customers and partners build the practical skills and confidence to use AI and OpenAI products safely and effectively. The team focuses on role- and skill-based learning paths, practical content, and product experiences that accelerate learning in the workplace. It brings together learning and enablement expertise, field insight, product signals, and measurement to improve learner and business outcomes. Together, these experiences will help enterprise users build practical AI skills, apply them with confidence in their work, and demonstrate what they can do. Employers will gain a clearer view of workforce skills and progress, helping them recognize capability, focus development where it matters most, and build confidence in workforce readiness. About the Role We’re looking for a full-stack engineer to define and build a new class of learning experiences. This is an early-stage product area where technical judgment, product sense, and learner empathy are critical. You will be setting a technical vision for how people use AI to learn how to use AI, safely and beneficially. This is a hands-on, 0-1 product engineering role with broad technical and product ownership. You’ll set direction, make foundational decisions, and ship the first versions of experiences that can grow into the default way people learn at work. You will drive full-stack product experiences end to end, from prototype through launch, instrumentation, iteration, and production hardening. The work spans interaction design, frontend implementation, backend APIs and services, learner state, content and runtime integration, telemetry, evaluation, reliability, safety, accessibility, and launch readiness. You’ll work closely with our education, GTM, and engineering teams to translate how people learn into products people want to use. bring role- and skill-based learning paths into the product, designing coaching, feedback, and adaptive support which responds to each learner’s goals, context, and progress. You’ll lead focused experiments, measure what helps learners progress and where they struggle, and use that evidence to shape what comes next. Strong candidates will be product engineers with experience and a strong interest in education, learning science, assessment, behavior change, or AI literacy. You’ll help shape how OpenAI supports structured, adaptive learning in the flow of work, from a learner’s first entry point through practice, feedback, progress, and repeated use. In this role, you will: Own the vision and execution for OAI’s native learning offering Build and launch end-to-end product experiences that help users build and apply AI skills through real work, starting in ChatGPT. Design the core systems behind those experiences, including learner state, progress and re-entry, content and runtime integration, experimentation, telemetry, and evaluation Create reusable components and internal tools that allow education and content partners to develop, configure, test, and improve learning experiences Build and test clear entry points, realistic hands-on practice, useful feedback, telemetry, and evaluation. Use evidence from real use to decide which capabilities for saved context, progress, re-entry, and reuse are needed next. Partner closely with colleagues across Customer Readiness, EDU Engineering, learning science, research, design, data, content, support, and customer-facing teams. Reuse technical and learning patterns where they help while keeping the experience grounded in professional and enterprise use cases. Work closely with design and users to turn product and learning goals into clear requirements, prototypes, milestones, reusable UI patterns, and product metrics, then refine the experience through evidence. Define the learner intent and problem for each release, then use product data, learner feedback, and operational signals to evaluate product quality, learning, transfer to real work, and adoption against that intent. Make pragmatic tradeoffs across speed, quality, scalability, and operational simplicity in a 0-to-1 product area. Qualifications: Substantial experience building and operating high-quality user-facing products with a record of staff-level technical leadership and hands-on delivery Strong full-stack engineering skills, including modern frontend technologies such as TypeScript and React, backend services and APIs, relational databases, stateful user flows, and instrumentation, with practical judgment about distributed systems, reliability, and performance. Strong user empathy and a high bar for product and interaction quality, accessibility, reliability, safety, security, and performance. Experience collaborating across engineering, research, product, design, data, content, operations, and customer-facing teams. Ability to use qualitative feedback and product data to identify friction, prioritize work, and improve outcomes. Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain technical decisions and tradeoffs to different audiences. Careful judgment when building products that shape how people understand and use AI. You might thrive in this role if: You like 0-to-1 product work where the right answer is discovered through shipping, measurement, and iteration. You are excited by product surfaces that sit close to real users, real workflows, and measurable user and business outcomes. You can move between prototype speed and production-quality engineering without losing sight of the user. You enjoy working with non-engineering partners and turning domain expertise into clear product experiences. You are energized by education, behavior change, skill development, or helping people gain confidence with new tools. You have strong opinions about product craft but can adjust quickly as evidence comes in. Nice to have: 5+ years of professional engineering experience (excluding internships) in relevant roles at tech and product-driven companies Former founder, or early engineer at a startup who has built a product from scratch is a plus Experience building education, edtech, learning, tutoring, coaching, assessment, onboarding, training, or enablement products. Experience in AI literacy, workforce learning, enterprise enablement, developer education, or similar spaces where users need to build confidence and skill over time. Experience building AI products, LLM applications, developer tools, agent-assisted workflows, or personalized user experiences. Experience building customer-facing, revenue, sales, support, or go-to-market systems where product quality and operational feedback loops matter. Experience translating research into product decisions, experiments, evaluation, measurement, and iteration. Experience building product surfaces used by both individual users and organizations, including admin, reporting, or support-readiness considerations. About the Team OpenAI’s People team is committed to hiring, engaging, and supporting world-class talent to help safely build and deploy universally beneficial Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). The Global Employee Relations and People Standards team brings together expertise in employee relations, employment investigations, and People compliance, policy, and standards. We play a critical role in shaping how OpenAI supports its people through complexity, growth, and change. Our team guides and supports the company through some of its most nuanced and high-impact people challenges. We operate with deep context and care, balancing trust, judgment, and creativity in every situation. We don’t default to predefined frameworks. Instead, we take a principled yet flexible approach, designing thoughtful, tailored solutions that reflect our values, the needs of our employees, and the unique pace of OpenAI. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees. About the Role We’re looking for a Senior Employee Relations Partner to focus on the non-investigative side of ER work, supporting high-trust, high-impact people matters. This includes conflict resolution, high-risk performance management, sensitive employee exits, and navigating workplace dynamics that require thoughtful, strategic support even when they don’t involve formal investigations. This role will report to the senior manager of the team. We're looking for someone who brings creativity, flexibility, and a deeply human-centered approach to solving people challenges. You’re energized by complexity and nuance, and instinctively seek out tailored, thoughtful solutions rather than one-size-fits-all answers. You don’t just apply rules; you understand context, think strategically, and help leaders make principled decisions that reflect our values and evolving culture. This role is a fit for someone who adapts quickly, thrives in uncertainty, and focuses on what’s possible, not just what’s standard. This work requires exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to connect across all levels, build trust quickly, and guide leaders with clarity and confidence. You should be comfortable in a high-growth, fast-changing environment, making sound decisions with imperfect information. You bring expertise in navigating high-tension, highly escalated employee situations, and remain calm, clear-headed, and grounded under pressure. You’ll approach your work with urgency, empathy, and strong judgment, serving as a collaborative partner and steady presence in nuanced people moments. Your impact will help reinforce a culture of clarity, accountability, and psychological safety, and support leaders and teams in doing their best work through times of growth and complexity. This role will report to the senior manager of the team and will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across the People Team. In this role, you will: Advise and guide managers, HRBPs, and cross-functional partners through complex or high-risk employee situations, including performance management, conflict resolution, reorganizations, and difficult conversations. You’ll bring emotional intelligence and principled thinking to every interaction. Help shape the responsible adoption of AI-enabled tools within ER, identifying opportunities to improve workflows, knowledge sharing, and service delivery while maintaining confidentiality, appropriate safeguards, and meaningful human review. Help build scalable tools and frameworks that strengthen ER support across the company and reduce over-reliance on formal processes or investigations. Translate recurring ER challenges into scalable tools, guidance, operating practices, and manager resources without creating unnecessary process or bureaucracy. Act as a sounding board and escalation partner for workplace culture concerns, manager-employee dynamics, and early signals of broader people issues. Collaborate cross-functionally with HRBPs, Legal, cross-functional partners, and leadership to ensure alignment on people decisions, organizational changes, and policy implementation. Navigate ambiguity with a proactive, calm, creative, and solutions-oriented mindset, helping to clarify issues and move toward resolution in a dynamic, evolving environment. Use data and insight to identify trends and advise on systemic solutions that promote trust, engagement, and long-term cultural health. You may thrive in this role if you have: A Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience in employee relations or other People roles, ideally in high-growth, fast-paced, and highly dynamic environments. Experience in tech, research, or mission-driven orgs is a plus. A non-conventional mindset. You bring creative, outside-the-box thinking to complex people issues, and you’re not bound by the way things have always been done. You know when structure helps, and when a bespoke approach is the better path. Proven experience managing high-tension, highly escalated employee situations with discretion, empathy, and calm under pressure. You know how to de-escalate effectively, build trust in difficult moments, and support people through emotionally charged or high-stakes scenarios. A proven track record of handling complex matters with a steady, thoughtful, and pragmatic approach. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills—you build trust quickly, communicate with warmth and clarity, and can connect with employees, managers, and senior leaders alike. Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable solutions—not only manage individual cases—including frameworks, tools, operating practices, or programs that improved how an organization handled recurring people challenges. Experience and passion adopting or championing new technology, including AI-enabled tools, to improve team workflows. You approach AI adoption thoughtfully, with attention to confidentiality, accuracy, safeguards, and human judgment. Strong executive presence and the ability to earn credibility with senior leaders and executives. You communicate a clear point of view, support it with sound reasoning, and remain open and adaptable when challenged. A track record of operating effectively when policy, precedent, ownership, or the path forward is unclear. You can create structure from ambiguity and make progress without waiting for perfect information. A low-ego, high-ownership mindset. You’re equally comfortable advising executives and rolling up your sleeves to fine-tune a template, fix a process, or support an employee through a difficult moment. Strong instincts for people and culture, with the ability to read situations, understand organizational dynamics, and offer grounded, empathetic guidance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially when navigating sensitive or high-stakes conversations. Comfort operating in ambiguity and rapid change, with the ability to move quickly and decisively while staying aligned with OpenAI’s mission and values. A commitment to fairness, discretion, and principled decision-making. You’re thoughtful, balanced, and clear-eyed, even under pressure. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. About the Team The Agent Safety team works to ensure that increasingly capable AI agents act safely, exercise sound judgment, and remain aligned with user intent. Our mission is to reduce the probability of severe unintended outcomes from increasingly capable AI agents while preserving their ability to act effectively and autonomously. Our work spans three areas: Training: Create training methods, environments and data that teach agents to make better decisions in consequential situations. We turn real-world failures into training signals that prevent similar incidents, and identify precursor behaviors and mitigations to address emerging risks. Measurements: Build evaluations and production metrics that identify emerging risks and measure whether our interventions work. Oversight : Develop oversight and system mitigation mechanisms that reduce harmful actions while preserving useful agent autonomy (for example future versions of auto-review ). About the Role This role focuses on oversight and system-level mitigations that enable increasingly capable agents to operate safely and autonomously in real environments. We prioritize building oversight systems that are used in practice today, both internally and externally (see our recent work on action monitoring for codex and former code review ). We also study longer-term questions about how increasingly capable agentis systems can be supervised, constrained, and corrected. We’re looking for a safety&security minded researcher or engineer who can reason rigorously about security boundaries and agent behavior, then build and test practical mitigations. A background in AI control or security is welcome but not required. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: Design, build, and evaluate system-level controls for agent actions like agent-based review. Plan how they fit in a broader system including sandboxing with process isolation and permission boundaries. Work closely with a Codex harness engineering team to productionize the AI controls. Red-team end-to-end agentic systems to measure whether controls prevent data exfiltration, unsafe tool use, and other harmful outcomes. Improve the safety–productivity tradeoff by measuring and reducing missed harmful actions, unnecessary blocks, approval burden, and latency. You might thrive in this role if you: Have strong systems or security instincts and can reason concretely about isolation boundaries, permissions, attack surfaces, and failure modes in complex systems. Enjoy turning ambiguous safety questions into concrete threat models, reproducible experiments, and practical mitigations, and revising your approach based on evidence from deployment. Can build robust experimental infrastructure and design evaluations that distinguish promising mitigations from brittle ones. Are deeply interested in frontier AI alignment, safety and control. About Supabase Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth. About the Role Supabase's Partnerships function is scaling fast - spanning Technology Partners, Solution Partners, Startups, and Cloud Partnerships. We're looking for a Partner Operations & Systems Lead to own the operational and technical backbone that lets this team move quickly and make decisions with good data. This is a senior, hands-on role. You'll design the systems, processes, and reporting that the whole partnerships org runs on - and, increasingly, you'll build the internal tools yourself. Supabase is investing heavily in AI-assisted development to move faster than a traditional ops build cycle allows, and this role is expected to be a leading example of that inside Partnerships. You'll report directly to the Head of Partnerships and sit alongside our regional and functional leads as a peer, with the mandate to build and enforce operational rigor across all teams. Beyond the infrastructure, we want someone who helps shape where Partnerships places its bets - not just the system that reports on them. What You'll Own Systems & Data Infrastructure Own the partner tech stack end-to-end - CRM partner objects, attribution tooling, and partner-facing portals. Design and maintain partner attribution models and the dashboards leadership uses to evaluate performance. Ensure data hygiene and consistency across partner records, deals, and touchpoints spanning all sub-functions. Process & Program Management Design and run partner onboarding, tiering, and certification programs. Own the RFC / DRI decision-making framework for the partnerships team, including how it's used and refined over time. Run deal-registration and "quarterback" account-ownership processes that keep internal teams aligned on partner-sourced deals. Build and maintain the playbooks, SOPs, and enablement materials that let the team scale without you in every meeting. Internal Tooling & Automation Build internal automations that remove manual ops work - e.g., auto-generated partner performance reports, HubSpot-to-Slack syncs, or deal-conflict alerts - using AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code. Prototype and ship lightweight internal apps and dashboards (partner health scorecards, RFC trackers, cross-tool syncs) without waiting on a shared data engineering backlog. Act as technical owner for partnerships' internal tools: write the spec, build it, test it, ship it, and maintain it. Know where the line is between a quick internal script and something that needs to be handed to Data/Engineering for production hardening - and manage that handoff cleanly. Reporting & Analytics Produce recurring performance reporting on partner-attributed revenue and pipeline influence. Own the metrics and KPI framework the partnerships team is measured against. Support QBRs and board-level reporting on partnership performance. Strategic Contribution Contribute to partner segmentation, tiering, and prioritization strategy - bringing data and operational reality to bear on where the team should invest. Challenge existing assumptions in the partner motion (which tiers, which incentive structures, which sub-functions get resourced) using evidence from the systems you own. Partner with the Head of Partnerships on strategic planning cycles - translating operational signal into recommendations, not just dashboards. Own execution of agreed strategic direction: once a call is made, drive the operational and cross-functional work to make it real. Cross-Functional Leadership Serve as the connective tissue between Partnerships, Sales, RevOps, Legal, and Finance. Ensure partner agreement terms are correctly reflected in systems and reporting. Sit at the table for partner segmentation, tiering, and incentive-structure decisions as a contributor and challenger, not just an operator reporting on them after the fact. What We're Looking For 7+ years in partner operations, revenue operations, or a related ops function, including experience designing (not just running) a program at scale. Proven ownership of a partner or revenue tech stack - you've made the build/buy/migrate calls, not just administered someone else's setup. Comfortable operating as the operational voice in exec-level rooms - QBRs, board prep, and cross-functional planning. Hands-on fluency with AI-assisted development (Claude Code or similar) - you can scope a problem, prompt effectively, review the output critically, and ship something real. A point of view on partner economics - rev share modeling, LTV by partner type - that can inform deal structuring, not just track it after signature. A track record of shaping strategic decisions, not just implementing them - comfortable pressure-testing a plan in the room and then owning the execution once direction is set. Experience managing a small team or dotted-line relationships across regions or sub-functions. Excellent written communication - you can turn ambiguity into a clear framework or a one-page decision doc. Nice to Have Experience with HubSpot (custom partner objects, multi-touch attribution), Clazar for cloud co-sell, and Linear for project management. Background in a developer-tools or platform business with a partner-driven go-to-market motion. Prior experience building internal tools or scripts, even informally, before AI-assisted development made it mainstream. How We'll Evaluate Alongside standard interviews, candidates will complete a short build exercise: given a messy partner-data problem, show us how you'd use Claude Code (or a similar tool) to solve it. We're evaluating judgment and problem-scoping as much as the output itself. What We Offer Fully Remote We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world. ESOP Every team member receives ESOP (equity ownership) in the company. We want everyone to share in the upside of what we’re building together. Tech Allowance Use this budget to set up your ideal work environment—laptop, monitor, headphones, or whatever helps you do your best work. Health Benefits Supabase covers 100% of health insurance for employees and 80% for dependents, wherever you are. Your wellbeing and your family’s health are important to us. Annual Off-Sites Once a year, the entire company gathers in a new city for a week of connection, collaboration, and fun. It’s a highlight of our year. Flexible Work We operate asynchronously and trust you to manage your own time. You know what needs to be done and when. Professional Development Every team member receives an annual education allowance to spend on learning—courses, books, conferences, or anything that supports your growth. About the Team Supabase was born-remote and open-source-first. We believe our globally distributed team is our secret weapon in building tools developers love. ~400 team members 60+ countries 20+ languages spoken Over $1B raised (including our $500M Series F) 540,000+ community members We move fast, build in public, and use what we ship. If it’s in your project, we probably use it in ours too. We believe deeply in the open-source ecosystem and strive to support—not replace—existing tools and communities.
