About the Team OpenAI’s Legal team helps advance our mission by tackling novel legal issues in AI. Our team brings together professionals across technology, privacy, intellectual property, corporate, employment, tax, regulatory, and litigation. Our regulatory compliance work turns legal requirements into practical programs that support responsible AI development and deployment. About the Role As a Legal Program Manager focused on regulatory compliance, you will build and manage cross-functional programs that translate counsel’s guidance into practical, sustainable operations. Your initial focus may include content moderation and/or frontier AI governance, with the mix shaped by team priorities and your strengths. You will partner with internal and external counsel, other legal program managers, and technical and business teams to coordinate implementation, evidence collection, reporting, and ongoing compliance. You’ll build repeatable systems that scale across regulations, products, and jurisdictions, helping teams navigate emerging requirements with clarity and sound judgment. This full-time role is based in San Francisco, CA, or New York, NY. In this role, you will: Lead regulatory compliance programs end to end: define scope, owners, milestones, dependencies, risks, and escalation paths, and drive execution with counsel and cross-functional partners. Translate counsel’s regulatory guidance into repeatable workflows, controls, and documentation. Depending on your portfolio, this may include content moderation disclosures, transparency reporting, reporting and appeals workflows, or frontier AI model launch readiness, evaluation and risk-management evidence, and incident reporting. Build strong partnerships across Product, Engineering, User Operations, Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), Global Affairs, Communications, and Go-to-Market to align program priorities and deliverables. About the Team OpenAI’s Communications team is responsible for helping people understand our mission, technology, and impact. The team works across the company to communicate clearly and thoughtfully with a wide range of audiences in a rapidly evolving environment. Within Communications, the Strategy & Systems team is building a new model for how communications organizations operate—combining strong strategic judgment, effective operating systems, and the growing capabilities of AI. We design the frameworks, tools, and ways of working that help the broader team focus on its highest-impact priorities and execute them effectively. About the Role We are looking for a Strategy & Operations Manager to help make this operating model real. You will translate priorities into action, lead high-impact initiatives from idea through implementation, and design better ways for the Communications team to work. You will take ownership of complex projects that require clear thinking, strong follow-through, and a willingness to challenge how work has traditionally been done. You will partner with senior leaders, technical builders, and cross-functional teams to bring structure to ambiguous problems, strengthen execution, and apply AI in practical ways that improve how the organization operates. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of three days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: Lead strategic initiatives and special projects across Communications, turning ambiguous opportunities into clearly defined problems, aligned plans, and successful implementation. Help shape how the team sets priorities, makes decisions, and follows through on its most important work—including launches, campaigns, reactive moments, and longer-term initiatives. Are energized by the opportunity to rethink how teams work with AI and have experience introducing AI tools, building AI-enabled workflows, or helping an organization adopt new ways of working. Bring strong strategic judgment and can distinguish high-impact work from activity that creates motion without meaningful progress. Can translate an ambiguous challenge into a clear plan, align the right stakeholders, and sustain momentum as priorities evolve. Bring strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform decisions, measure outcomes, and improve organizational effectiveness. Can partner effectively with technical builders and have experience using agentic, automation, or no-code tools. Communicate clearly, build trust across functions, and exercise good judgment about when to push for a decision, simplify a process, or pursue a different approach. Are highly organized and capable of managing multiple complex initiatives without losing sight of strategic context or execution details. Care deeply about the work of communications and are excited to help build a team that operates at the pace and ambition of OpenAI. About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role Claude Code is changing how engineering organizations build software, and most of them need someone to show them how. That's you. Technical Architects help customers get real work done with Claude Code, Claude Tag (Claude Code as an agent in Slack), and the enterprise admin controls that decide whether a rollout succeeds. You'll teach customers, partners and Anthropic's own field teams. Just as important, you'll train the trainers who carry that knowledge to everyone else. We're hands-on AI engineers who would rather teach than sell. You'll work alongside customer engineering organizations, teaching them about Claude Code and shepherding rollouts with advanced admin knowledge. Most weeks you're in front of an audience with Claude Desktop or a terminal open: thousands of engineers on a public webinar one day, a customer's platform team in their own conference room the next week, office hours in between. The prep material often reaches you the day before. The team is growing quickly this year, scope will grow as new products ship, and the people who join now will shape how it works. Responsibilities Teach in every format. Take a standing rotation on Anthropic's public webinars in front of thousands of engineers at a time. Lead workshops and multi-day onsites, in person and virtual, built around a customer's own codebase and questions. Host office hours and multi-week cohorts where engineers, partners, and account teams bring live problems. Teach the teachers. Run train-the-trainer programs for customer technologists and champions, and certify them to deliver Anthropic's material. Empower admins. Educate enterprise admins on the technical requirements for a strong rollout by guiding them through single sign-on, permissions, connectors, spend controls, data-handling policy, and other advanced topics. Build fast with Claude. Turn a request into a polished deck, demo repository or plugin within a day, using the tools you teach. Explore new features the day they ship. Pick up a teammate's material and deliver it as if you wrote it. Bring field signal back to product. Tell the Claude Code, Claude Tag and Cowork teams what customers run into, specifically enough that they can fix it. Be the technical voice in the room. Partner with account executives, customer success managers, Applied AI Architects, support engineers and partner leads. Travel. Expect 30 to 50%, in bursts around onsites, workshops and events. You may be a good fit if you have 5+ years as a software engineer, solutions architect, developer advocate or similar. You still ship code and regularly teach engineering audiences. Current engineering range. You've shipped code other people depend on. You can go deep with a senior engineer anywhere in the stack. You use Claude Code or a similar agentic tool every day and have opinions about it. Big-stage presence. You've held large live audiences. You sound practiced with material you got that morning, and a broken demo doesn’t faze you. Range in one conversation. You can go from banter to a rigorous design discussion, and both feel natural. Care for people. You do right by a struggling customer, and you won't leave a confused room behind. Initiative. You build things without waiting for permission, and you say when an idea is half-formed, including your manager's. Steadiness when priorities shift, timelines are short and colleagues are under pressure. Comfort with ambiguity in a fast-moving industry and product suite. A stake in safe AI. You care that large organizations deploy AI responsibly, and you want to help them do it. You love being on the frontier. You want to work at the edge of what’s possible and help define what comes next. Strong candidates may also have Depth in enterprise identity and security review (SAML, OIDC, SCIM, SOC 2, HIPAA). Experience running Claude on Amazon Bedrock or Google Cloud Vertex AI. Time with regulated industries or with systems-integrator partners. A public record of technical teaching: talks, courses, videos or writing. An interest outside technology you can talk about with the same energy. The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $250,000 — $365,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit anthropic.com/careers directly for confirmed position openings. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. About the Team OpenAI develops models that can reason through complex problems and hardware designed for the demands of advanced AI. AI for Chips connects these efforts: applying increasingly capable AI systems to the work of semiconductor engineering. Our goal is to help engineers develop better chips and shorten design cycles. This work brings research, model training, and hardware expertise together to build tools that engineers can use on real designs, with correctness and measurable performance at the center. About the Role We’re hiring a Research Engineer to help OpenAI models solve chip-design problems through reinforcement learning, tool use, and evaluation. You’ll own experiments from the initial idea through implementation and analysis. That means building environments and evaluations, running training, investigating failures, and using the results to decide what to try next. You’ll also build the software needed to make those experiments reliable and reproducible. We value strong coding fundamentals, careful experimental judgment, and the ability to make progress independently. Prior chip-design experience is helpful, but you can learn the domain alongside the team’s hardware specialists. In this role, you will: Build RL environments and evaluations for tasks such as RTL generation, design verification, and physical design optimization. Develop and test approaches that help models use chip-design tools and improve power, performance, and area while preserving correctness. Design experiments, establish baselines, and measure whether improvements hold up on new tasks and designs. Investigate failures across model behavior, rewards, evaluation tools, and experiment infrastructure. Improve iteration speed through better tooling, faster evaluations, and proxy rewards that reflect the outcomes we care about. Turn successful experiments into reusable research code and training workflows, working closely with researchers and engineers. You might thrive in this role if you: Have strong programming and debugging skills and a track record of turning technical ideas into working software. Experience with reinforcement learning, model evaluations, post-training, or other applied ML research. Experience building tool-using agents, reward functions, or automated evaluation systems. Can form clear hypotheses, design useful experiments, and distinguish meaningful results from noise or evaluation errors. Work independently on ambiguous problems and make practical decisions about what to build or test next. Stay close to the implementation and can explain what you built, what failed, and what you learned. Communicate progress clearly and collaborate well with people across research, software, and hardware. Care about developing safe, beneficial AI. Nice to have: Familiarity with experiment orchestration, distributed training, or research infrastructure. Experience with RTL, Verilog/SystemVerilog, EDA tools, formal verification, or chip-design automation. To comply with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidates for this role may need to meet certain legal status requirements as provided in those laws and regulations. About the role We're looking for a Strategic Projects Lead to take on recruiting's most complex, cross-cutting work: the high-stakes decisions and initiatives that span many teams and don't fit neatly into any one group's remit. You'll bring the structure, coordination, and follow-through that help these get made well, and see them through as the company scales. You'll work across every team that touches hiring, and you'll move work forward through partnership, not ownership. The job is influence: bring the right people together, make sure decisions are principled and well-documented, and keep recruiting's approach coherent over time. You'll be the most senior individual contributor for how recruiting operates, and success depends as much as on building trust across senior stakeholders with different priorities as it does on building good systems. This is a high-autonomy role for someone who thrives in complexity and ambiguity. You know recruiting well enough to feel where it breaks, and you're energized by holding several very different problems at once and driving each to a clear resolution. Key responsibilities Take on recruiting's biggest ambiguous bets: define the problem, ship the smallest testable version, and hand each one off as a repeatable program before moving to the next Own the operating rhythm across the teams that support recruiting, so we plan, review, and decide as one function Spot recurring friction and fix the system behind it, not just the case in front of you Own process design when company-wide changes run through recruiting, and drive them to real adoption with the partners who own the build and the comms Be recruiting's DRI for headcount and workforce planning, including hiring pace and readiness for new regions Own the operating standard for interviewing, like scheduling lead time and interviewer load, and lead the cross-team diagnosis when it slips Turn analytics into standards and simple SOPs, and build documentation a new leader could pick up without you in the room Keep the right people informed at the right time without becoming a bottleneck, and stay fluent in our recruiting systems and data so you can call the downstream impact of any decision You'll partner directly with the leads for Recruiting Systems, Analytics, Interview Programs, and other teams. You won't run their teams or build their systems, but you'll know each well enough to make calls that hold up across all of them. Minimum qualifications Have 8-10+ years in program management, business operations, chief of staff, or people/talent roles at a fast-growing company, with increasing scope over time Have been part of a talent team or partnered closely with one, and understand how recruiting operates day to day Think in systems: you see how the pieces connect, anticipate downstream effects, and design fixes that work across team boundaries Have owned several complex workstreams at once and made hard prioritization calls without much guidance Set the strategy and vision for your area rather than executing someone else's plan Create structure and clarity in genuinely ambiguous environments Have put AI to work in real workflows: redesigning process, automating the repetitive layer, and shipping faster Test the smallest version of an idea in the real world before building the big one, and say clearly what you're not doing and why Can lose a decision cleanly: disagree, commit, and execute with full credibility, knowing which calls are reversible and which aren't Have taken a big process or policy change through an organization end to end and made it stick Close the loop, hold the bar, and finish the unglamorous work Preferred qualifications Experience running recruiting or talent operations at global scale Working knowledge of recruiting compliance, like OFCCP, GDPR, and regional employment law, and how it shapes process and systems decisions Experience in deep-tech environments with technical recruiting complexity Experience operating across multiple time zones and jurisdictions The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $235,000 — $300,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. About the role There are close to a billion knowledge workers in the world, and only a small fraction of them have discovered what it feels like to work alongside AI that actually raises their game. Most people who could benefit from an AI collaborator haven't tried one yet, or tried once and didn't see what was possible. Closing that gap isn't a copywriting problem — it's a storytelling and enablement problem at a scale few companies have ever had to solve. That's what this role owns. We're looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own the foundational positioning and story for Claude's core knowledge-work products — Chat, Cowork, and the broader non-coding suite. Everything that helps a knowledge worker understand what's possible, and a buyer decide with confidence, runs through your work: the website, the pitch decks, the battlecards, the persona narratives. You're not just making the case that people should adopt AI — you're equipping the people who decide to buy it and showing the people who use it, at the scale of millions, exactly how to put it to work. This is an individual-contributor role built for someone who wants to do deep, durable craft work on products with enormous, established usage. You'll write the positioning doc, build the battlecards, and ship the persona work yourself, and you'll use Claude and AI-native workflows to keep those foundations self-updating and trusted by every team that depends on them. If you've owned the full product marketing stack for a large, widely-used, fast-evolving product, have building instincts for turning your own PMM workflows into systems rather than one-off documents, and want your writing to be the reason millions of people and the buyers who equip them finally understand what an AI collaborator can do, this role is for you. Key responsibilities Define the story that gets millions of people to change how they work. Own and evolve the positioning and messaging house for Chat, Cowork, and Claude's core knowledge-work products, so every deck, campaign, and piece of content makes the same compelling case for what's possible. Give sellers the conviction to close. Build and maintain the sales enablement assets — pitch decks, battlecards, objection handling — that turn a good product into deals won, arming GTM to sell with confidence rather than guesswork. Equip buyers to make the call with confidence. Own the proof points, comparisons, and narratives that help economic buyers and champions justify the purchase and adoption decision internally, not just the end users who'll use the product day to day. Make sure the message lands with the right person, in their language. Develop ICP and persona frameworks that translate a broad, varied base of knowledge workers and buyers into insights sharp enough to drive messaging and campaigns that actually resonate. Make our inspiring story come to life. Own the website and product page messaging that's often someone's very first encounter with what Claude can do for their work — the moment that decides whether they lean in or bounce. Turn scattered wins into a playbook others can run. Build libraries of top use cases by product and by function or persona, so the best examples of AI-augmented work aren't one-off stories, they're patterns anyone can copy. Keep every team telling the same story, well. Partner closely with GTM, Marketing, and Partners so they're never working from stale or inconsistent materials. "Claudify" our own foundations. Build AI-native systems, using Claude and beyond-chat workflows like Skills and automations, that keep positioning, messaging, personas, and enablement current and instantly trustworthy — proof, in how you work, of the same transformation you're asking millions of others to make. Contribute to how we present plans, pricing, and analyst relations materials for the core knowledge-work portfolio as they intersect with your positioning and messaging work Minimum qualifications Have proven experience owning positioning and messaging for an established software product used broadly across personas and use cases Have strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone and complexity across formats — pitch decks, web copy, battlecards, persona docs Have experience building ICP and persona frameworks and translating research into messaging that scales across websites, collateral, campaigns, and content Have experience building sales enablement assets and working directly with sales teams on objection handling and win/loss dynamics Are comfortable operating autonomously as an IC, writing and shipping assets directly rather than through a team Demonstrate systems thinking, and the ability to move fast and with conviction in an always-evolving environment Are well-versed in using AI — namely Claude — to inform and automate product marketing workflows, and have built foundational systems that inform, update, and share PMM foundations with the stakeholders who depend on them Have experience marketing AI or productivity software to a broad, cross-functional buyer base Preferred qualifications Experience with analyst relations processes and reports (e.g., Gartner, Forrester) Familiarity with plans and pricing presentation and packaging communication Experience as a Senior PMM or PMM Lead at a productivity, collaboration, or knowledge-work software company with ownership of core-product positioning Role-specific policy: For this role, we expect all staff to be able to work from our San Francisco or New York office at least 2 days a week. We encourage you to apply even if you might need some flexibility for an interim period of time for relocation. Deadline to apply: None. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $320,000 — $320,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. About the Team OpenAI is building the next generation of advertising for an AI-powered world. As AI changes how people discover information, explore possibilities, and make decisions, we believe this presents a huge opportunity for small and medium-sized businesses to connect with customers in new ways. The SMB Ads Marketing team is building this opportunity from the ground up. We define how businesses discover OpenAI’s advertising platform, become successful advertisers, and grow their investment over time. Working closely with Product, Ads Engineering, Data Science, and Sales, we combine customer insight, rigorous experimentation, and fast execution to turn early opportunities into scalable growth. About the Role We are seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to build, own, and lead lifecycle programs for SMB advertisers at OpenAI. This is a zero-to-one opportunity to establish the strategy and programs that guide businesses from initial interest and their first campaign to sustained success and growth. You will set the lifecycle strategy, own the program roadmap and performance goals, and lead delivery from customer insight and journey design through launch, measurement, and iteration. Combining behavioral insights, experimentation, and personalized engagement across email, product experiences, education, and other channels, you will build programs that scale with the business. Success requires independent judgment, analytical depth, cross-functional leadership, and hands-on execution. In This Role, You Will Own the lifecycle program portfolio across prospect conversion, activation, retention, repeat spend, reactivation, and expansion. Map advertiser journeys using cohort analysis, product behavior, campaign performance, and customer feedback to identify high-impact growth opportunities. Build segmented, triggered journeys that connect advertiser needs, intent, readiness, and behavior to relevant messages and next steps. Lead prospect nurture and email acquisition programs. Coordinate audiences, retargeting, and conversion experiences with Growth Marketing. Launch onboarding and education programs that help advertisers create campaigns, understand performance, adopt capabilities, and grow their investment. Coordinate delivery across email, in-product and onsite experiences, retargeting, education, and sales engagement with channel and product teams. Maintain high standards for journey quality, contact frequency, suppression, consent, and deliverability with operations and privacy partners. Improve activation, time to first campaign, retention, repeat spend, reactivation, and expansion. Scale effective programs and use AI to accelerate content, personalization, and analysis. You Might Thrive in This Role If You Demonstrate a track record of building and leading lifecycle programs from strategy through execution, with measurable activation, retention, or customer-growth results. Translate customer behavior into effective engagement strategies through customer empathy, clear communication, and disciplined prioritization. Build behavioral segmentation and triggered programs using product and customer signals across multiple channels. Apply cohort analysis, funnel diagnostics, retention measurement, and experimental design to distinguish engagement from incremental customer outcomes. Bring hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms, such as Marketo or comparable tools, including journey logic, personalization, and quality assurance. Lead cross-functional programs with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Sales, and Marketing Operations, aligning priorities and driving delivery. Set strategy and launch programs in fast-moving environments while establishing repeatable processes and reliable measurement. Bring experience with SMBs, self-serve products, advertising, SaaS, marketplaces, fintech, or other high-volume customer journeys. Use AI thoughtfully to improve personalization and execution. Preferred Qualifications Experience building lifecycle programs for SMB advertisers or self-serve advertising platforms. Track record launching onboarding and education programs that accelerate first campaign creation and repeat spend. Experience connecting email, in-product messaging, retargeting, and sales engagement into coordinated customer journeys. Experience using holdout tests and cohort analysis to measure incremental retention and revenue impact.
